Carolyn Ann Lull, 81, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018. Memorial services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 9th at New Salem Funeral Home, Independence. The family will greet visitors from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Carolyn was born January 2, 1937 in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Alvin and Grace Ann Mardis. She loved fishing, shopping, and going to garage sales and thrift stores. Carolyn was a very sincere and loving person. She always kept her family and friends close to her heart.
Carolyn is survived by her daughter, Lisa Stewart; her son, Mark Sheets and his wife, Beverly, all of Independence; four grandchildren: Nicole Stewart, Natalie Sheets, Heather Bollinger, and Lindsey Maggard; four great-grandchildren: Gabrielle Stewart, Isaiah Jones, Reagan Bollinger and Jacob Bollinger. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Michael Sheets; and fourteen brothers and sisters.
