Catrina A. Lyons

Catrina Ann Lyons, 53, of Higginsville, Missouri, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, August 3rdatRoyer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO. The family will receive friends from 5:00p.m. until service time at the funeral home.

Catrina was born November 27, 1966,in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Douglas and Cheryl (LeFevre) Ambrose. She enjoyed making crafts, shopping, home decorating, crocheting, cooking, and especially spending time with her family.

Catrina was preceded in death by a daughter, Courtney Michelle Iles in 2009. Her survivors include three children: Kaley Lyons, Tabby Lyons, and Billy Lyons, all of Bates City, MO; grandson, Alec Iles of Warrensburg, MO; her parents, Doug & Cheryl Ambrose of Higginsville, MO; and three sisters: Lisa Merrifield of Higginsville, MO, Cara Grotzinger (Donald) of Warrensburg, MO, and Ashley Ambrose of Higginsville, MO

    Doug, Cheryl and family~I so want to be @ Catrina’s visitation tonight, but am unable due to transportation issues. I would LOVE to pay my respects to Catarina and my condolences to ALL of you. Just PLEASE know that I am thinking of ALL of you, (my family), during this somber time. I have no doubts Catarina is resting peacefully with God, our Father, Jesus, our Son And The Holy Spirit up in Heaven where cancer does Not exist. Perhaps, her and Steve are reminiscing about old times in Higginsville as kids, growing up. RIP Catarina, your cousin, Mindy Cindrich-Beland
