Charles Edwin Elliott, 77, of Odessa, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, May 4, 2016. 

Charles was born April 23, 1939 in Clinton, Missouri, the son of Charlie A. and Lillie (Cauthon) Elliott.  He served in the United States Army.  Charles was an over the road truck driver for over 40 years.  He was a jokester.  He always loved to tell jokes.  Charles attended Free Will Baptist Church with his wife, Martha.  He loved to sing, and he loved his grandkids.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, several siblings, and one son.  His survivors include his wife, Martha Elliott of the home; son, Charles Elliott & wife Sharon of Jasper, MO; daughter, Candy Moss & husband Josh of Mt. Vernon, TX; several stepchildren; nine grandchildren: Dena Lisa Munz, Jenny Brown, Brandie Mays, Charles J. Elliott, Tyler Elliott, Alana Valenzuela, Julie McClain, Katelynn McClain, & Lexis McClain; and several great-grandchildren.
