Charles H. Fultz


Charles Henry Fultz, 80, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Oak Grove Nursing & Rehab, Oak Grove, MO.  Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, October 11th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 12th at Humansville Cemetery, Humansville, MO.  Contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans or to the Humane Society.

Charles was born April 24, 1935, in Atchison, Kansas, the son of Henry and Marguerite (Botkin) Fultz.  He had nine brothers and sisters.  Charles married the love of his life, Freida Mabel Stacy, on April 24, 1956.  He had worked for McCall’s Service Station, Bratton Corp, and Overland Steel.  Most recently, he was a welder for Deffenbaugh Industries for 15 years, retiring in 2000.  Charles enjoyed fishing, hunting, mowing yards, and he loved a good meal.

His survivors include his wife, Freida Fultz of the home; daughter, Cathy Martin (Mike) of Kansas City, MO; son, Charlie Fultz of Oak Grove; and granddaughter, Brianna Fultz of Raymore, MO.
