Charles was born on August 28, 1931 to Edd & Ida Mae (Walby) Pahmeyer in Wheeling, Missouri. He graduated from Wheeling High School in 1950. He attended Northwest Missouri State & the University of Missouri. Charles was inducted into the US Army in Sept 1952 and serviced in the Korean Conflict in 1953 & 1954. He was honorably discharged in Sept 1954.
Charles and Mildred Figg were married on October 8, 1954. Charles worked for the Kansas City Missouri Post office retiring to the family farm in New Boston Missouri in 1986. Charles was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Winigan, Mo and the VFW Post 1471 of Marceline, Mo.
Charles was preceded in death by his mother in 1954, father in 1977 and one brother, Dale Pahmeyer in 1964. He is survived by wife Mildred, daughter Jane Pahmeyer of the home, Reta (Mike) Fry, Breckenridge, MO; sons William (Denise) Pahmeyer, Plattsburg, Mo; Jim (Cheri) Pahmeyer, Oak Grove, Mo; John Pahmeyer, Independence, MO; Grandchildren Dawn Thomas, Holly Briggs, Casey Pahmeyer, Sarah Broski; Kristen McWhirt, Tracey McWhirt, Emily Pahmeyer and Ricky Pahmeyer; Great-Grandchildren Dylan Thomas, Cole Pahmeyer; Dakota Pahmeyer, Kyle Broski and Tyler Broski.
