Cheri Ann Barnard, 63, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Liberty Hospital. A visitation will be held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Sunday, August 2nd at New Salem Funeral Home, Independence, MO. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 3rd in Kidder Cemetery, Kidder, MO.
Cheri was born May 18, 1952 in Braymer, Missouri, the daughter of Dean L. and Opal (Emery) Barnard. She was a manager at Independence Federal Credit Union.
Cheri is preceded in death by one brother, Danny Dean Barnard in 1999.
Her survivors include her daughter, Dana Barnard of St. Louis, MO; mother, Opal Pickering of Independence, MO; special friend, Dave Coen of Independence, MO; two grandchildren, James & Syvanna of Arizona; and many other special little munchkins.
