Christy Ann Wisemore, 45, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, May 7, 2019. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 14th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO; burial in Valley Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13th at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Christy was born January 14, 1974, in Independence, Missouri, the daughter of Jack and Teresa (Debord) Cowan. She was an accountant. Christy loved going to the beach and traveling to new places. She especially loved her kids, family, and dogs.
Christy was preceded in death by her father and brother, Jackie Cowan.
Her survivors include her husband, James Wisemore of the home; two daughters: Megan Tripp (Blake) and Ashley Wisemore, both of Grain Valley; two sons: James E. Wisemore and Johnathan Wisemore, both of Oak Grove; her mother, Teresa Cowan of Grain Valley; sister, Laura Montgomery (Greg) of Higginsville, MO; two grandchildren: Raelynn & Haidyn Tripp; many nieces & nephews; and her dogs, Milly & Milo.
