Cindy Lewis-Isaacs age 56 of Independence, MO passed away on Friday September 28, 2018. Services will be held on Saturday October 6, 2018 2:00 p.m. at the New Salem Funeral Home in Independence, MO. Cindy was born on August 28, 1962 in Rolla, MO the daughter of Sidney and Shirley (Hutchison) Lewis. She worked as a Site Location Analyst for Hallmark for 14 years where she retired. She loved flamingos, fishing, quilting, gardening tending her farm and her wood burning fireplace. Cindy loved her family and her dogs, she took pride in caring for her husband and was there with him through all his health struggles and was definitely there in sickness and in health and was a great wife. She was known as “Mother Hen” and a loving grandmother. She also loved rainy days, sitting on the porch watching the butterflies and always made time to have lunch with friends. Cindy loved music especially Led Zeppelin. She hated republicans and loved President Obama.
Cindy is survived by her husband, Arnold of the home, daughter, Savannah Isaacs-Hanson of Midtown, Kansas City, two grandchildren, Zoey Gilbert and Frank Cabrera both of Midtown, Kansas City, her mother Shirley of St James, MO, one brother, one sister, good friend Nathan Tempelton and her beloved dogs, MiMi, Johnny and Maggie.
She was preceded in death by her father Sidney Lewis and one sister Susie.
