Claude Raymond Weber, Jr. (Chuck) 73, of Kansas City, MO, formerly of Greensburg, IN, passed away on September 6, 2019 from complications to pneumonia at Veterans Hospital of Kansas City, Missouri.
Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Friday, September 13, 2019 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO. Memorial service to follow at 2 p.m. Private burial. In lieu of flowers contributions can be sent to Disabled American Veterans.
He was born on June 3, 1946, the son of Claude Raymond Weber, Sr. and Freida Mae (Schaffer) Weber. He has two brothers Raymond and James Weber. Claude graduated from Greensburg High School, Greensburg, IN. in 1964. He was in the Army from June 11, 1964 to June 9, 1967. Claude married Sandra (DeGeare) Weber on June 13, 1970. He worked at Midwest Research Institute, Kansas City, Missouri as a research photographer for 26 years and at Harrah’s Casino, North Kansas City, Missouri as a hotel night supervisor for 12 years before retiring in December, 2008.
Survivors include: Sandra (Sandy) Weber wife, of Kansas City. Missouri; Christopher (son) and Christina Weber of Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Grandchildren: Orville Dupree, Jocelyn Weber and Brooklyn Weber of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, Brothers: Raymond (Cecilia) Weber, Pittsburg, Missouri and James Weber, Olympia, Washington.
He was preceded in death by his Daughter, Tracy Gail Weber and his Parents.
He was loved by many uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
