
Clifford E. Taylor Jr. 77 of Sedalia passed away in his sleep, at Sylvia G Thompson Senior Care Facility on January 31, 2021 after a lengthy battle with cancer. Visitation will be 10:30-11:00 a.m. Saturday April 24, 2021 at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home; Independence, MO. Memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial of ashes at New Salem Cemetery.
Clifford was born October 12, 1944 in Kansas City to Clifford E. Taylor Sr. and Ruth Emily Hutchinson. He was married to the love of his life Shizue (Susie) for 50 years, and they thrived on being known as doing everything together. Together they created a lifetime of happiness and memories. Clifford was known for being extremely intelligent, kindhearted and patient. He loved talking with anyone, about anything. Clifford was a regular member of the First Christian Church of Sedalia, and loved to volunteer his time with the Lions Club in Knob Noster and helping with computer issues at the Retiree’s Office at Whiteman’s Air Force Base.
Clifford is survived by his wife Shizue (Susie), and his only child Clifford Ken Taylor.
