Clifford Lee Peal, 84, of Windsor, Missouri, died unexpectedly, Saturday, October 27, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri.
He was born June 12, 1928, the son of Ronnie Levi Peal and Tena Mabel (Harris) Peal. On December 24, 1947, In Independence, MO, at the Jackson County Courthouse, he married Shirley Ann Flynn and she preceded in death October 19, 2008.
Clifford worked Clarkson Construction Company, In Kansas city, MO, for 25 years. He also worked for Westinghouse, In Kansas City, for 10 years and at the Lake City Munitions Plant for several years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and playing pool.
Survivors include a son, Ronald Peal and his wife Sharon, Tightwad, MO; 2 daughters, Carol Todd and her husband Steve, Tightwad, MO; Carla Morgan and her husband, James, Lee’s Summit, MO; 5 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Nancy Coleman, St. Petersburg, Florida; Evelyn Coolidge, Grain Valley, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Thursday, November 1, 7:00 p.m., at the Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, MO, with Rev. James Morgan officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Grain Valley Cemetery at a later date.
