Cloeta Mae Harlan, 83, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 24, 2015. Graveside services will be held at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 28th at Blue Springs Cemetery, Blue Springs, MO.
Cloeta was born March 20, 1931 in Mammoth Springs, Arkansas, the daughter of Frank and Ida Mae (Marshall) Carpenter. She was raised in the depression, and learned to work hard to raise a family.
Cloeta was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Delbert Harlan in 2014; and one son, Ronald D. Harlan in 2005.
Her survivors include one son, Wayne & Sandra Harlan; granddaughter, Andrea & Todd Shellhorn; and great-granddaughter, Alexis Shellhorn, all of Lee’s Summit, MO.
