Conard Lee Buie, 65, of Grandview, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at St. Luke’s Hospice House, Kansas City, MO. Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 24th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO; private burial in Oakland Cemetery, Buckner, MO. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Conard was born and was raised in the Oak Grove area. He moved in with CDD in 1991, and he worked at the Foundation Workshop in Grandview. Conard enjoyed going on outings, including going to Phillips 66 for a diet coke. He also enjoyed visits, phone calls, and cards from his sister Janet and cousin Patty.
Conard was preceded in death by his parents, John Albert and Mildred Pauline (Campbell) Buie. His survivors include his sister, Janet Gilmore of Easley, SC; and his cousin, Patty Hazen of Glen Carbon, IL.
