Connie Dale Ireland, 62, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 12, 2016.
Connie was born May 22, 1954 in Independence, Missouri, the daughter of Shorty and Aileen Butler. She loved going to the lake, dancing, crocheting, and watching General Hospital. Connie knew no strangers and made friends wherever she went. She always told her children how proud she was of them, and that they were smart and beautiful inside and out.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents. Her survivors include two daughters: Karri L. Hampton & husband Bradley Hampton of Blue Springs, MO, and Brook L. Shields of Wheatland, MO; son, Bobby L. & wife Desiree Shields of Lebanon, MO; three grandchildren: August Shields, Devin Shields, and Caleb Shields; brother, Johnny Butler & wife Cynthia Butler of Wheatland; niece, Kelly Malicoat & husband Mickey Malicoat; nephew, Michael Butler; cousins: Rhonda Radford, Stacie Schemmel, Marsha McClurg, & Michael Butler, and many more cousins out of state; and we can’t forget about Bruce Hampton.
Connie was an original, one-of-a-kind woman, and an amazing wife, mother, grandma, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She will be greatly missed and forever loved.
