Dale Wesley Manuel Jr., 33, of Higginsville, Missouri, passed away Monday, February 26, 2018. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 3rd at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
Dale was born October 31, 1984, in Waverly, Missouri, the son of Dale W. Sr. and Melissa (Tolle) Manuel. He was a sorter at the local shelter workshop.
His survivors include his mother & stepfather, Melissa & Tim Horn of Odessa, MO; his son, Dale “Trey” Manuel III of Higginsville; two sisters: Pam Barney (Charles) of Odessa, and Regina Manuel (Pat Katzer) of Gladstone, MO; his grandparents, Leo & Lois Tolle; four nieces & one nephew: Alexus Barney, Tyler Barney, Rylee Manuel, Paige Katzer, and Kylea Katzer; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

29 Sep 2020I remember when I first met Dale Jr many years ago. I was with his Dad and he came to the house in Mayview. He came through the door with such a big smile! Dale introduced us and he just stood there and looked at me curiously and then smiled as he told me that sometimes he gets to feeling a little bit ornery! His smile was so big and his words so genuine that I loved him from the first moment I saw him. I will miss him dearly. It helps to know that he’s with his Dad again. I bet he’s smiling right now…
I don’t have the right words for the family. I wish I did but they say it just takes some time for the pain to be less and the hurt in your heart to ease. If you guys need anything at all please call me or come over, anytime. I love you all – Teena White
