Danny A. Casey, 51, of Blue Springs, Missouri passed away Sunday, November 23, 2008 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Blue Springs. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 26th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain VAlley; burial in Valley Memorial Gardens, Grain Valley. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 25th at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the United Way.

Danny was born on July 8, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Charles and Marcella (Schnelly) Casey. He was an assembly line worker for General Motors, retiring after 30 years of service. Danny was a member of U.A.W. #31. He was also a contributor of and an organizer for the United Way. Danny was currently working for Century 21 All-Pro.

Danny was preceded in death be his father, one brother, and one sister.

His survivors include his partner, Rudy Lozano; five children: Marcella Nichols, Ryan Casey, Kristen Casey, Caitlin West & her husband Devon, & Kendra Casey; his mother: Marcella Casey; four grandchildren: Dylan, Sadie, Erin, & Makenzie; four sisters and two brothers.
