David Lee Harris, 44, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015.  His wishes were to be cremated.

David was born November 30, 1971, in Kansas City, Missouri.  He was an auto painter for five years, and then an iron worker with Local Union #10 for the last seven years.  David was diagnosed with colon cancer a year ago.

His survivors include his daughter, Angel Harris; mother, Leah Harris; sister, Heather Harris; sister-in-law, Kim Harris; niece, Tane Yelton; great-nephew, Liam Yelton; great-nephew, Ryan Yelton, all of Blue Springs; grandfather, Gordon Smith of Warrensburg, MO; two aunts; and five cousins.
