David Leon Hicks, 60, of Grain Valley, Missouri passed away Tuesday, September 7, 2010.  Memorial services will be held at a later date.

David was born on January 9, 1950 in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Harold E. and Elizabeth A. (Brown) Hicks.  He served in the United States Marine Corps.  David married Carla M. Duvall in June 1975.  He was a grocery clerk.

David was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Joseph Hicks.

His survivors include his wife, Carla Hicks of the home; four children: Timothy Hicks & wife, Rose Valdez, of Mukilteo, WA, Christopher Hicks & wife, Kerrie, of Bellevue, WA, Teresa Hicks & husband, Tyler Smith, of Granite Falls, WA, & Eric Hicks of Everett, WA; two granddaughters: Elizabeth Hicks & Andria Valdez-Hicks; and three brothers: Ronald, Dennis & Michael Hicks.
