David Lee Pitts, 49, of Blue Springs, MO passed suddenly at his home Sunday, November 24, 2013.
Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m. Friday, at Royer-Hays Funeral Home, Blue Springs, MO. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in David’s name to Wayside Waifs 3901 Martha Truman Rd, Kansas City, MO 64137.
David was a life long resident of Blue Springs. He and his life partner Rick Hartzell were the owners of Salon Evolve in Westport. David loved his family very much along with his four dogs; Hollywood, Pugsley, Peaches, Freckles and his four birds.
David leaves behind his life partner of 28 years: Rick Hartzell of the home; mother: Ida Pitts of Blue Springs; sister: Susan Hughes of Blue Springs; 2 nephews: Steve and Tony Hughes; great nephew: Aleister Hughes; sister-in-law: Cindy Pitts.
David was preceded in death by his father: Kenneth L Pitts; brother: Kenneth W. Pitts; step nephew: Bucky Coin.
David loved everybody and was loved by all.
