David W. Brunson, 69, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at The Groves.  He will be cremated.  A Celebration of David’s Life will be held from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at John Knox Village Chapel, 400 NW Murray Road, Lee’s Summit, MO.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you consider making donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.

David was born on December 25, 1948, the son of Earl and Ada Ruth (Powers) Brunson.  He retired from Reed Oven Company after 40+ years of service.

David is survived by Doris, his wife of 47 years; son Aaron, his wife Jennifer, and their children, Kallie (10), Oliver (3), and Mara (3); and son Mike, and his children, Hayden (12) and Makayla (11).
