Deanna Kay Hanson, 74, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 27th at Good Shepherd Christian Church in Blue Springs, with visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to Good Shepherd Christian Church in Deanna’s name.
Deanna was born on September 3, 1941, daughter of Doyal and Virginia (Timmons) Crum. She was a very active member and volunteer at Good Shepherd Christian Church, member of T.O.P.S., member of Alpha-Beta-Beta sorority, and she loved to travel.
Deanna is preceded in death by her parents, Doyal and Virginia Crum. She is survived by her husband, David Hanson of the home; 2 sons, Steven (Karina) Conner of New York City, NY, and James (Bobbi) Hanson of Gallatin, MO; 2 daughters, Lisa (Howard) Spector of Dallas, TX, and Lauri (Steven) Phillips of Independence, MO; 7 grandchildren; and brother Tim (Sue) Crum of Norman, OK.
