Delbert L.R. Willis


Delbert L.R. Willis, 79, of Grain Valley, MO, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020.  Cremation. 

Delbert was born April 19, 1941 in Tallequah, Oklahoma.  He and his wife moved to Oak Grove in the early 70’s where they were active in community events and owned different businesses in the area.  Delbert was a retired meat cutter from Cosentino’s Bros. Grocery.  He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed gardening, and was quite the cook.  He has a great sense of humor and will be dearly missed. 

Delbert is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary, of the home; son, Dale Willis of Bates City; daughters, Jilda Horton (Russell) of Blue Springs, MO, and Tina Triplet of Oak Grove, MO; 6 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
