Della June Vorwork, 69, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Friday, April 15, 2016. Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, April 21st at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until service time at the church.
Della was born May 15, 1946, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Roy Lee and Velta Zula (Baker) Mincy. She was a hairdresser for many years. Della was a “come as you are” kind of person. It didn’t matter to her who you were or what you had to offer in return, she was a loving helping hand to everyone.
Della was a mother of four: Robert Craig Sr., David Craig, Ranae Spirz, and Darin (Becky) Ford. She was a grandmother of four: Robert Craig Jr., Michael (Sabrina) Wilkerson Jr., Blake Ford, and Maddie Ford. Della was a great-grandmother of five: Chandler Gibbens, Carlee White, Conrad Wilkerson, Avarie Wilkerson, and Michael Wilkerson III. She was also a sister to three siblings: Vivian Fox, Debbie Ward, and Jerry Whisenand.
