Denver Clifford Miller age 68 of Sugar Creek, MO. passed away peacefully while sleeping in his home on Monday February 5, 2018. Memorial services and dinner to be held at the VFW Post 3976 12810 E Kentucky Ave, Sugar Creek, MO 64050 on Thursday February 22, 2018 from 6PM until 10PM. Inurnment and military honors will be held on Friday February 23, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Missouri Veteran’s Cemetery 20109 Business Hwy 13 Higginsville, MO 64037.
Denver was born on May 22, 1949 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia the son of John Clifford and Lorena (Roach) Miller. He was a retired Army Sergeant (1968-1976) who proudly served in Vietnam. In 2008 he retired from his job as a heavy equipment operator and also found the Lord devoting his life to Christ. Denver never met a stranger and was always willing to help anyone in need regardless of his own situation. He was an avid outdoorsman that loved to hunt and fish but most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren
Survived by: Johnathon Miller (son), Jessica Miller (daughter), Evan Woods (son), Haley Camarillo (daughter), Jennifer Camarillo (daughter), Paige Miller (grand-daughter), Emilie Miller (grand-daughter), Johnathon Miller Jr (Jay) (grand-son), Clayton Miller (brother), and many other cousins / close family members.
Preceded in death by: his parents, his wife Kiku Miller, one cousin: Ronnie Roach, one brother: Donald Miller, three sisters: Eva Mae (Miller) Duncan, Rickie Ann Miller and Patricia (Miller) Russell.
