Dicksey Darlyn Martin, Blue Springs, Missouri, fell asleep in Jesus on November 30, 2015. Dicksey was born on March 31, 1941 in Richmond, CA to Elmer F. and Shirley (Ellsworth) Martin. She earned a Bachelors degree in Sociology from Missouri Southern State University in Joplin, Missouri and worked for more than 20 years as a Case Manager at the Kansas City Regional Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Dicksey was a lifelong member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church and was a member of the Oak Grove Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer F. and Shirley (Ellsworth) Martin, and two children, Richard Laddusaw and Deborah (Laddusaw) Lee.
She is survived by three children, Rebekah (Laddusaw) Lyman, Blue Springs, MO, John Laddusaw & wife Terri, Overland Park, KS and Stephen Laddusaw, Grain Valley, MO; as well as grandchildren, Jaime Laddusaw & wife Valerie, Blue Springs, MO, Katie Laddusaw, Independence, MO, Dalton Laddusaw & Preston Laddusaw both of Kansas City, MO and three great grandchildren Anthony, Joshua and James Cameron Laddusaw. She is also survived by two sisters Shirley (Martin) Kroll & husband Ed of Shelton, WA and Elana (Martin) Taylor of Noel, MO and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at the Oak Grove SDA Church, 10th & Broadway, Oak Grove, MO. Dicksey was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten.
