Donald Paul Bryant II (Don, Donnie), 47, passed away after a short battle with cancer on August 25, 2021, at St. Luke’s East Hospital, Lee’s Summit, MO.
He was born July 16, 1974, in Independence, MO, the son of Tonya and Casey Bryant. He started school in Oak Grove, MO and moved to Holdenville, OK where he graduated High School in 1992. Following High School, he went to the Job Corps in Houston, TX where he learned the trade of welding. He moved back to Oak Grove, MO in 1999 and changed his profession to truck driver. In 2000 he met his wife and they married in February 2005. Together they have 4 children.
Donnie may have been grouchy, but he was always happy. He was a good friend, a great dad, and an amazing husband. He would be the first one there to help you with whatever you needed. He was the biggest fan and supporter of anything his kids did. And he loved to spoil his wife. Donnie’s favorite things to do were hunting, fishing, camping, and traveling. If he was joking with you or poking fun at you, it meant he liked you. He loved with all his heart. He was a protector, a father figure to everyone’s kids, a great co-worker, and a joy to be around.
Preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Survived by his wife, Michele and children, Ashley, Bradley, Casey Nicole, and Zach.
Visitation service will be held on Tuesday, August 31, 2021, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at Royer Funeral Home, 101 SE 15th St, Oak Grove, MO 64075.
