Donald Ray Kjellerson, 87, of Blue Springs, MO, passed away February 20, 2020. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 24th at Royer Funeral Home, Blue Springs; burial in Blue Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or an Animal Charity of your choice.
Donald was born April 26, 1932 in Enderlin, ND to George & Sylvia (Allard) Kjellerson. He was a member of the Blue Springs Christian Church, American Legion and VFW. Donald was a volunteer for KCPT, City Union Mission and helped with the Backpacks for Kids.
Donald was preceded in death by a daughter: Kelly Kjellerson in 1997; 3 brothers; his parents; and former wife Darlene.
He is survived by wife Mary Ann of the home; 4 children: David Kjellerson (Anita) of Denver, CO, Susan Kjellerson of Stockton, MO, Kristina Walk (Frank) of Odessa, MO, and Kari Kjellerson of Grandview, MO; 9 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
