Donna D. Ballinger, 67, of Independence, Missouri, passed away peacefully on March 29, 2017 at Carmel Hills Rehabilitation Center, Independence. A celebration of life was held from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on April 18th at Carmel Hills.

Donna leaves behind two sons, Danny Blackmon Sr. and James Ballinger, both of Independence; two sisters, Karen and Mazie, both of Kansas City, MO; one brother, Ronnie; many grandchildren, including Erika Blackmon, Danny Blackmon Jr., and Karly Coyne; several great-grandchildren that she dearly loved; eight aunts; eight uncles; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Albert Blackmon; a sister, Norma Ballard; and a brother, Allen Blackmon.
