Doris Mae Turner, 85, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 with her family by her side.  Private services will be held.  The family suggests contributions to Alzheimer’s Foundation.

Doris was born June 6, 1933, in Independence, MO, the daughter of Clyde and Myrtle (Church) Baker.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be greatly missed.

Doris leaves behind her husband, William Turner; daughter, Linda Blomquist; two grandsons, Christopher Blomquist and his fiancé Jennifer Conroy, and Chad Blomquist and his wife Devin; three great-grandchildren: Samuel, Jackson, and Parker, and one more arriving this month.
