  1. I remember while we were in high school at Bonner Springs, she invited me to come and spend the night. I was so taken back at how remarkable her singing was with her family I always thought she would be another Dolly Parton. – Linda Bass Smith

  2. Dorothy was a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother. She was funny, witty, feisty. She was loving, kind, compassionate, gentle and a good listener. She was a great cook and a good decorator. She was our camping buddy. We shared the same name. She was all of those things but above all, to us, she was a Wonderful Friend. – We loved her and will miss her more than she will ever know. One day we will see her again and rejoice forever. Rest In Peace our Precious Friend. With Deepest Sympathy and love to Kenny and his family. – Richard & Dorothy (Taylor) Sales

  3. I miss you so much and more everyday. I will never know why you had to be taken from us so early but I will never stop loving you or talking to you. You were the best mother in the world. I love you! – Kim

  4. Dorothy was an amazing woman. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. As my wife, she was my life, and no words can describe our love for each other. She loved God, her family, and her many friends. She loved going camping in our RV, and we had several future trips planned. Until we meet again, honey, rest in peace. I have no doubt, we will be together again, for eternity. As always, all my love!! Ken Taylor

  5. Oh mom, I have so much to say to you. Much of it I do say, and I talk to you daily. Our lives have changed so very much without you in them. We’re all a little lost and have holes in our hearts where you once were. It will be a year of losing you soon and I can’t believe it’s been that long. I miss you and love you so very much! – Kim

  6. Honey, it will very soon be a year since you left. I cannot tell you how alone I feel. I need to hear your voice, and feel your touch. As I often told you, I could not survive without you. Nobody can believe you are gone, even after this amount of time. You were so important to so many lives. I am constantly looking at, and talking to your pictures, and yes, I still cry. I will love you totally for the rest of my life. Nothing will ever fill the void you left in my heart. Love, Your Hubby
