Dorothy Carlene McDaniel, 81, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away Friday, October 29, 2010.  There will be private family service at a later date.

Dorothy was born May 13, 1929 in Basalt, Colorado, the daughter of Jacob and Maybird (Norris) Lucksinger.  She married Marcus L. McDaniel in October 1966 and he preceded her in death in 1989.  She was a loving housewife and mother.

Her survivors include one daughter: LaDenna “Dee” Vaughn & husband Jim of Grain Valley; four sons: Russell Gabbert & wife Teresa of Kansas City, MO, Gary Gabbert & wife Valerie of Blue Springs, MO, Thomas “Bill” Gabbert & wife Sharon of Jonesboro, AR, Dennis Gabbert & wife Eva of Woodland Park, CO; seven grandchildren & two great-grandchildren.
