Dorothy Ellen Winfrey, 80, of Independence, MO passed away December 21, 2019. Visitation will be from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 30th at Royer’s New Salem Funeral Home, Independence, MO. Funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m., with burial in New Salem Cemetery.
Dorothy was born November 19, 1939 in Sedalia, MO to Charles W. & Margaret (Reynolds) Manns. She enjoyed playing bingo, gambling, playing games, talking and dancing. Dorothy loved spending time with her family.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents and daughter Sherrie Gervy.
Dorothy is survived by 3 daughters: Rhonda Teter of Buckner, MO, Teresa Campbell (Phillip) of Buckner, and Chris Winfrey (Mike) of Liberty, MO; and 1 sister: Shirley McKeehan of North Kansas City, MO; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
