Leota Colin, 92, of Oak Grove, MO, passed away Friday, January 10, 2014 at Blue Hills Assisted Living Center. She was born on August 22, 1921 in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of Clyde, Sr. and Minnie (Harmon) Michael. She was a homemaker.
Leota was preceded in death by her husband Howard Colin on October 29, 1978. She was a Baptist.
Her survivors include her son: Billy Joe Colin of Kansas; grandson Donald Colin of California; two brothers: Clyde Michael & wife Vivian of Independence, MO and John Michael & wife Linda of Blue Springs, MO; and one sister: Mary Ann Thompson of Boston, MA.
Services will be held at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove on Tuesday, January 14th: Visitation will be from 10-11:00 am, Funeral at 11:00 am; burial in Maple Hill Cemetery, Kansas City, KS.
