Earnest Eugean Kluth, 94, of Independence, MO passed away February 2, 2023.

Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday February 8, 2023 at Leavenworth National Cemetery; Leavenworth, KS. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or DAV

Earnest was born November 16, 1928 in Peach, WA to Adolph & Neta Kluth. He married Nancy E. Small on June 14, 1952. Earnest enjoyed fishing, hunting taking care of his lawn, landscaping and gardening. He was an Elder in the RLDS Church. Earnest proudly served his country in the United States Navy on the USS Rendova CVE-114.

Earnest was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Earnest is survived by his wife Nancy of 70 years; 5 children: Peggy and Linda both of OR, Ron of ID, Roy and Judy both of MO, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
