Ed Hopper, 89, of Blue Springs, MO passed away on Friday, April 17, 2020.  Private family burial.  Memorial services will be held at a later date.

Ed was a HUGE Royals fan and enjoyed watching the games.  He worked for 40+ years for KCP&L.  He also enjoyed bowling.  Ed loved to play guitar and sing country western music at Vesper Hall in Blue Springs.  When he wasn’t playing guitar and singing, he could be found out on the dance floor.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Norma, in 2007.

Ed is survived by son, Harry (Marcia) of Oak Grove, MO; grandson, Kenny (Nicole) of Odessa, MO; granddaughter, Sarah Shorter of Troy, MO; sister, Harriette Yeakley of Salida, CO; sister, Nancy Matthews of Phoenix, AZ; companion, Marie Gassen and several nieces and nephews.
