Eddie C. Amor

Eddie Charles Amor, 46, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020.  Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 11th in Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove, MO.

Eddie was born November 16, 1973, in Kansas City, Missouri.  He was a 1993 graduate of Grain Valley High School and later went to driving school to receive his CDL and Certification for Hazmat.  Eddie’s many jobs include a forklift driver, assembly line, trash truck driver, mechanic, maintenance man, over the road truck driver, and pizza delivery driver.  The job he loved most was driving his 18-wheeler, hauling cars from coast to coast.  Eddie enjoyed talking to all his trucking buddies and all those waitresses!  When he wasn’t driving out on the open road, he was driving around town.  Eddie didn’t have just one truck, he had two – one old style and the other was 4-wheel drive.  It was the same with cars, he just had to have two.  One was a Mercury and his newest was a Jaguar!  A good night out was getting his truck stuck in the mud or going to a tractor pull.  Eddie was a free spirit, floating from place to place.  He liked his freedom and loved his country and Dr. Pepper!  Eddie never knew a stranger and liked to listen to a good story.  Everyone who really knew him, loved him!  Eddie was baptized and knew The Lord!  He would want you to know the Lord, as well.  We all know he had his ups and downs in life, but he is now with his Savior.

Eddie’s survivors include his Mom, Hope Amor of Oak Grove, MO; sister, Telena Smith of Independence, MO; and six brothers: Lee Amor (Morgan) of Grain Valley, MO, Travis Anderson (Rachel) of Grain Valley, Randy Smith of Independence, Cole Smith of Independence, Cody Smith of Oak Grove, and Ethan Watts of Independence; ten nephews; and nine nieces.

Arrangements: Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO 816-690-4441
