Edna Pauline Schmidt, 96, of Raymore, MO passed away November 8, 2011 at Foxwoods Springs Living Center. Visitation will be 1-2 pm Saturday, November 12, 2011 at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO with the Funeral Service to follow at 2pm. Burial in Oak Grove in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Edna was born November 1, 1915 in Oak Grove, MO to Dave & Mollie (Crews) Saylor. She married Clarence “Smitty” Schmidt April 8, 1944. Edna was a member of the Raymore Christian Church and Sheffield Eastern Star. Edna and her husband helped deliver meals on wheels and also help out at the Whatsoever Community Center. Edna was preceded in death by her husband: Clarence in 1992. Edna is survived by a daughter: Claran (John) Romanchuk; three grandchildren: Chris Romanchuk, Jioia Romanchuk, Amy (John) Caton; six great-grandchildren: Arian, Jordan Caitlin, Madeline, Haylee, William, Levi.
