Edward ”Eddy” Arthur Michael, 82, of Independence, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 18th in New Salem Cemetery, Independence.
Edward was born January 3, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri, to Edward & Thelma (Hutchison) Michael. He worked for Owens Corning Fiberglass for 45 years and retired 2000. Edward loved his wife, son and daughter. He enjoyed working on cars, motorcycles, and engines in his garage, hunting, and fishing.
Edward is survived by his son Mark Michael of the home; 2 grandchildren: Christine Kramer and Mark Steven Otis; several great-grandchildren; and 3 sisters. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Michael on July 28, 2007 and daughter, Melinda Michael on May 31, 2015.
