Edward “Scott” Tosspon, 76, of Garfield, Arkansas, passed away November 12, 2019. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 12th at First Baptist Church of Oak Grove; inurnment to follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove, MO.
Scott was born September 12, 1943, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of John Scott and Shirley Irene (Laquet) Tosspon. He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Army for 20 years. Scott was then an over the road truck driver for Werner and also managed the Grain Valley truck stop. He was a Baptist, a member of the VFW and the American Legion, and enjoyed taking care of his home.
His survivors include his wife of 37 years, Della of the home; seven children: Debbie Staehle, Philip Tosspon, Drenise Henderson, Denise Cable, Keith Blocher, Karyl Blocher, and Kurtis Blocher; two sisters: Phyllis Kagay and Deanna Olsen; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
