Elizabeth Mae “Rash” Medley, 81, of Lone Jack, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016. A visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 16, 2016 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2016 also at the funeral home; burial following in Florals Hills East Cemetery.
Elizabeth was born in Winchester, Kentucky on May 14, 1935. She married Billy Medley on November 25, 1954. She loved gardening, quilt making, collecting and reading cookbooks. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Ollie Hill and Jerry Driscoll; husband, Billy Medley; sister, Dorothy Willingham; and step brother, Jerry Driscoll Jr.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughter, Terri (Greg) Hays of Lone Jack, MO; 2 sons, Donald (Vicki) Medley of Portland, OR, and Corkey (Angie) Medley of Spring Hill, TN; 4 grandchildren, Casey Deja, Micheal Medley, Corey Napier and Christopher Medley; 9 great-grandchildren; sister Sandra (Wayne) Garner of Marionville, MO; and 3 step sisters, Judy Sidwell, Kay Fillmore, and Susi Mogensen.
