Emma Catherine Branham, 95, formerly of Buckner, MO passed away Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at Monterey Park Nursing Center, Independence. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, October 13th at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley; burial in Buckner Hill Cemetery, Buckner. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. preceding the service. Memorial contributions are suggested to Buckner Restoration Church.

Catherine was born August 30, 1912 in Nevada, MO, the daughter of Archibald & Ella (Hartley) Waterman. She had been employed as a tailor for Wolf Brothers Department Store before retiring. Catherine was a member of the Buckner Restoration Branch.

A son, Charles Sperry preceded her in death.

Her survivors include two daughters: L. Marie Fredericks of Champaign, IL, Carol Norreen Rees of Cincinnati, OH; one son: Vernon Lee Sperry of Lexington, MO; and 17 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren & 11 great-great-grandchildren.
