Esther Charlene Breuer, 88, of Napoleon, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, March 1, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Services will be held on Thursday, March 5th at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO, with visitation from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., followed by burial in Buckner Cemetery, Buckner, MO. Esther was born September 19, 1931 in Levasy, Missouri, the daughter of Charles and Mildred (Vineyard) Hall. She married Clayton C. Breuer on August 19, 1950. Esther worked for Montgomery Ward & Co as a Biller in the mail order house starting in 1957 and worked there for 28 years, until 1983. She then went to work for Feldman’s Farm & Home Store from 1987 to 1999 and worked there for 12 years. She enjoyed working on the farm beside her husband, gardening, and spending time with family.
Esther was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Breuer; daughter, Janet Syler; her parents; and one sister, Barbara Hall.
Esther is survived by her children; 1 daughter, Karen Nieweg & husband Kenny of Napoleon, MO; son-in-law Gerald Syler of Independence, MO; 1 son, Daniel Breuer of the home; 4 grandchildren: Stephanie Wetzel & husband Reuben, Garret Syler & wife Stacie, Kelly Beckner & husband Jeff, and Kevin Nieweg & wife Jillian; 7 great-grandchildren: Brandon Wetzel, Nathan Wetzel, Austin Syler, Chase Syler, Lillian Beckner, Lacey Beckner, Lauranell Beckner; and 1 brother Martin Hall of Buckner, MO.
