Esther Loraine Smith Read, 97, of Blue Springs, Missouri, formerly of Madison County, Iowa, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016.  Services will be held Friday, October 21st at First United Methodist Church in Winterset, Iowa, with burial in Union Chapel Cemetery.

Esther is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Read; and 2 sons, Kay Read and Jerry Read. She is survived by her daughters, Karen White and Hulda Kreis; son, Gary Read; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
