Ferren Glenn Fleming, 48, of Independence, MO, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019.  In lieu of a memorial service, a private family remembrance will be held at a later date.

Frank graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1989.  In high school, he was an editor for The Envoy newspaper and was a national qualifier in DECA.  Ferren loved working with children as a lifeguard, daycare teacher, and bus driver. After graduating from Central Missouri State University, he taught at Ott Elementary School in Independence where he coached the chess club.  Ferren also enjoyed working on classic cars with his friends.  He loved animals, especially his cat, Meatloaf. 

Ferren is survived by his mother, Sheila Fleming; sister, Fonda Fleming; brother Frank Fleming (Susana) and nephew Dimetri Fleming of Independence; and brother Phillip Fleming (Maria) and nephews Alex and Ethan Fleming of Lee’s Summit.
