Frank Simpson, 49, of Kansas City, MO passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011 at the Greens at the Creekside Residential Car Facility, Kansas City, MO. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Royer Funeral Home, Oak Grove, MO. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove, MO. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. preceding the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Faith Community Church 102 West 9th Street, Oak Grove, MO 64075.
Frank was born January 27, 1962 in Anderson, IN to Robert and Alta (Wisehart) Simpson. ON August 17th 1985 he married Sherry (Winemiller) Simpson. Frank loved listening to Gospel music, talking for hours on end over the phone, and fishing down at the reservoir after dark.
He was preceded in death by his father: Robert Simpson.
His survivors include his wife: Sherry Simpson of Oak Grove, MO; 3 daughters: Latricia Simpson of Newark, DE, Melissa Simpson and Jessica Simpson both of Oak Grove, MO; his mother: Alta Mullens of Buckner, MO’ 2 sisters, 4 brothers, and one granddaughter: Phyllis McDonald.
