Fred Joseph Quatrocky, 92, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at his home. Graveside services with Military Honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2019 in Woodlawn Cemetery, 701 S. Noland Road, Independence, MO.
Fred was born in Kansas City, MO on December 27, 1926 to Saletta Marie and Peter Quatrocky. He graduated from Northeast High School and Rockhurst College. Fred joined the U.S. Army in January 1945 and served in Japan immediately after their surrender. He retired from Honeywell (Bendix) in 1986. After retiring, Fred and Bobbie enjoyed traveling and seeing the world.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Evinger; and brothers, Mike, Joseph, and Nicholas.
He is survived by his wife, Roberta Ann “Bobbie” (Taflinger) Quatrocky. They had just celebrated their 69th anniversary. Fred will be missed by his children: Cecelia and David Smith, Fred and Judy, and Stephen; their three grandchildren: Christopher Hudson, Sara and Adam Quatrocky; three great-grandsons; and many nieces and nephews.
