Freddie Lee Simpson, 80, of Kingsville, Missouri passed away Monday, July 6, 2015. A visitation will be held at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley, from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Saturday, July 11, 2015 with a funeral service following at 11:00 am.
Freddie was born May 27, 1935 in Possum Holler, Clark County, Missouri, the son of Hazen and Ferol Simpson. Freddie was a Master Sergeant in the Air Force, retiring in 1972. He was then a real estate broker in California for many years. Freddie loved to travel and go hiking.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Simpson of the home; 2 sons, Donnie (Laura) of Vancouver, WA, and Danny (Julie) of Kingsville, MO; 1 daughter, Shawn Petro of Orcas Island, WA; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Marion Ray of Lee’s Summit, MO, and Carl of Excelsior Springs, MO. He is preceded in death by his 1st wife, Jeannie Simpson; parents, Hazen and Ferol Simpson; 1 sister, Ruby; and 1 brother, Harold.
