Garnith Louise Williams, 71, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 11th at Royer-Hays Funeral Home, Blue Springs, MO.
Garnith was born May 2, 1945, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Louis and Jewell (Bowling) Pharris. She was a medical secretary at Research Mental Health in Lee’s Summit. Garnith was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, and enjoyed the outdoors, walking her dog, camping, and fishing. She especially loved being with her family and her grandchildren.
Garnith was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne in January 2016, her parents, two sisters, and one brother.
Her survivors include two daughters, Kitchel Williams and son-in-law Devin Williams of Blue Springs MO, and Kelly Baldwin and her partner Leslie Keck of Independence MO. She also leaves three grandchildren, David Baldwin and Kali Ewing of Odessa MO, Daniel Baldwin and wife Amber of Holden MO, and Taylor Williams of Blue Springs MO; and three great-grandchildren.
