Gary Lee Denham, 53, of Oak Grove, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 29th in the First Baptist Church of Oak Grove Youth Building, with visitation at 1:00 p.m. and funeral at 2:30 p.m., followed by burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Baptist Church of Oak Grove.
Gary was born September 7, 1969, in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of Warren E. and Linda D. (Staley) Denham. He was an electrician for IBEW Local 124 for over 20 years. Gary’s #1 priority was his family and he loved spending time with them. They referred to him as their Superman. Gary loved the Lord and was a member of First Baptist Church of Oak Grove, where he attended the Men of Light Sunday School class. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, cooking, yardwork, watching birds, watching movies, and listening to music.
Gary’s survivors include his wife, Cindy Denham of the home; two sons: Joshua Denham (bonus daughter Ru) of Oak Grove, and Jesse Denham of Oak Grove; his father, Warren “Denny” Denham of Raytown, MO; father-in-law, Francis Foster of Warrensburg, MO; sister, Michelle Etherton (Dusty) of Independence, MO; brother, Don Deischer of Missouri; brother-in-law, Mike Foster (Carla) of Kansas City, MO; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda.
