Gary Rowley, 73, of Independence, Missouri passed away July 15, 2015. A visitation service will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday July 20, 2015 and a funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday July 21, 2015 at Royer Funeral Home, Grain Valley.

Gary was born August 31, 1941 the son of Howard and Lorene Rowley. Gary worked for Allis – Chalmers, Torson, Garney, and Beemer construction companies. Gary enjoyed restoring old cars, hand-making toys, manicuring his lawn and spending time with his family.

 Gary is survived by his wife, Kay, of the home; daughter, Kimberly Farrow, of Independence, MO; grandson, Ryan (Stephanie) Farrow, of Independence, MO; granddaughter, Jamie (Paul) McCaslin, of Independence, MO; great grandchildren, Blake Lee Farrow and one on the way; twin sisters, Debi Allen and Sandi Teague. He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Lorene Rowley.
